Alpha Omicron Pi was founded on a promise to serve not only one another but the greater community as well. This commitment reflects a philosophy of friendship, concern, and usefulness in the world.

Commitment to
Dignity

Whether a member chooses to serve as a chapter officer, or represent AOII as a member of other campus or community organizations, there are numerous opportunities to develop leadership skills as a member of AOII.

Commitment to
Scholarship

AOII encourages all members to excel academically and has many programs designed to assist women in achieving their academic goals. Expectations are high but the support provided by scholarship programs, academic development officer resources, and fellow members makes success attainable.

Commitment to
College Loyalty

From collegiate years on through alumnae involvement, the reason AOIIs continue service is the joy of spending time together and sharing the insights learned from the relationships we build and sustain.

Letter from the President

Welcome! My name is Kali Herbolsheimer and I am the current Alpha Omicron Pi Chapter President. I am a Special Education major from Omaha. If you would have told me that I would be writing this letter as a sorority president three years ago, I would have looked at you like you were crazy. Coming into college, I only knew the stereotypes that are associated with Fraternity and Sorority Life organizations. Three years later, I can truly say that I cannot imagine my life without my sisters in Alpha Omicron Pi. Joining Alpha Omicron Pi has helped me become a stronger leader, better student, find more opportunities to get involved on campus and in the Kearney community, and meet my best friends. The women of Alpha Omicron Pi are passionate, empathetic, advocates, involved, and my greatest supporters. I know that no matter what, these women will have my back and will be there to celebrate my successes or provide me support when I need it most. The women of Alpha Omicron Pi have created a space for other women to be unapologetically themselves and feel loved unconditionally. No matter where they are, I know that my sisters are living out our values and inspiring ambition through all that they do. Alpha Omicron Pi has offered me a high-quality and fulfilling college experience. It is one that cannot be replicated. Thank you for taking the time to check out our website and learn more about our chapter.

Alpha Love, Kali Herbolsheimer
