Commitment to
Dignity

Whether a member chooses to serve as a chapter officer, or represent AOII as a member of other campus or community organizations, there are numerous opportunities to develop leadership skills as a member of AOII.

Commitment to
Scholarship

AOII encourages all members to excel academically and has many programs designed to assist women in achieving their academic goals. Expectations are high but the support provided by scholarship programs, academic development officer resources, and fellow members makes success attainable.

College Loyalty

From collegiate years on through alumnae involvement, the reason AOIIs continue service is the joy of spending time together and sharing the insights learned from the relationships we build and sustain.

Letter from the President

Welcome! My name is Hannah Haynes, and I am the current Chapter President of Alpha Omicron Pi at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. When I came to college, I didn’t even understand what it meant to be a part of a sorority. Now three years later, I could not imagine my life without my sisters in Alpha Omicron Pi. Joining AOII has helped me become a stronger leader and become involved not only in AOII but also at UNK and in the Kearney community. I have met so many amazing women that have been my greatest supporters, advocates, and friends throughout my UNK experience! The women of Alpha Omicron Pi have always made me feel like I could be myself and be loved unconditionally. The women of AOII strive to inspire ambition every day within AOII, on campus, and in the community. I am so grateful for my home away from home here at Alpha Omicron Pi. Thank you for taking the time to check out our website and learn more about our chapter!

Alpha Love, Hannah Haynes
